Medical imaging specialist Adaptix Ltd (Adaptix) has today announced a distribution agreement with Televere Systems, LLC, (Televere) to supply its highly successful 3D Small Animal Imaging System (Adaptix 3D Vet System) into North America.
The agreement appoints Televere as the official U.S. distributor for Adaptix’s Vet Imaging product.
Randy Quaal, General Manager at Televere Systems, said: “Adaptix represents the future of clinical point-of-care veterinary imaging and I’m delighted they have chosen Televere as their sole supplier for the US veterinary market. The Adaptix 3D Vet System is a complete game changer for pets and practice owners alike, transforming dental, orthopedic and exotics imaging from both clinical and financial perspectives.”
“Feedback from existing users in the UK has cemented our opinion of the benefits this imaging modality will bring to Veterinary practices in the US.
One particular leading orthopaedic vet stated: ‘We’ve been using the Adaptix Digital Tomosynthesis machine for 12 weeks. The team adore it! In orthopaedics it bridges the gap between the two modalities of 2D X-ray and CT’.
This type of feedback is common across users in the UK, and we are looking forward to bringing this solution to our home market. “
Representing a significant breakthrough in how X-ray images are captured, the Adaptix 3D Vet System provides veterinarians with more detailed, higher-resolution 3D images for better visibility into tissues and bone structures, resulting in more accurate diagnoses at a lower dose and cost than traditional 3D imaging technologies.
Sarah Small, Chief Executive Officer at Adaptix, said: “We’re excited to announce the distribution partnership with Televere, which is one of the most respected names in the US marketplace. With their strong presence within our target markets, we look forward to working together during this exciting period of growth.”
