Oxford, UK. (2026-01-30): Medical imaging innovator Adaptix Ltd (Adaptix) has today announced a distribution partnership with Centura Imaging as an official U.S. distributor for both its latest orthopedic imaging device, the Adaptix Ortho350, and its veterinary imaging system, the Adaptix VetSA3D, into the U.S. market.

The agreement marks a major milestone in Adaptix’s expansion into the U.S., providing access to its breakthrough low dose 3D X-ray technology across both human orthopedic and veterinary healthcare markets.

Centura will represent, sell and support the Adaptix Ortho350 and Adaptix VetSA3D bringing advanced point-of-care 3D imaging directly to orthopedic practices, urgent care centers, speciality clinics and veterinary hospitals.
Eric Thams, General Manager at Centura Imaging, said: “We are delighted to have Adaptix onboard as a Vendor Partner, representing their portfolio of human and veterinary imaging products. Adaptix’s solutions align with our goal of providing clinicians with innovative, practical solutions that enhance diagnostic confidence while improving workflow efficiency. The Adaptix Ortho350 and Adaptix VetSA3D deliver advanced point-of-care imaging without the cost, complexity, or radiation burden associated with traditional CT systems, making them highly compelling options for orthopedic and veterinary practices. We look forward to working closely with the Adaptix team to support U.S. customers through strong clinical education, responsive service, and a long-term partnership as these technologies are introduced to the market.”

The Adaptix Ortho350 represents a significant breakthrough in how X-ray images are captured. Using low dose tomosynthesis, the system generates high resolution 3D images that provide enhanced visibility of soft tissues and bone structures, resulting in more accurate diagnoses while reducing radiation exposure and operating costs compared with traditional CT based imaging technologies.

The Adaptix VetSA3D applies the same advanced 3D imaging technology to veterinary care, enabling clinicians to capture detailed images of small animal anatomy with exceptional clarity. The system delivers low dose 3D scans that support more confident diagnoses, reduce the need for external referrals and improve the overall experience for both veterinary teams and pet owners.

Sarah Small, Chief Executive Officer at Adaptix, said: “Launching our technology into the U.S. market marks a significant milestone for Adaptix. Partnering with Centura Imaging, a company known for its clinical credibility, customer focus, and commitment to advancing imaging care, strengthens our ability to deliver meaningful innovation to clinicians and patients. We’re excited to work together with the Centura team as we make advanced 3D imaging more accessible in the U.S., while also expanding into the growing veterinary imaging market.”
