Adaptix announces departure of their Chief Executive Officer, Sarah Small
Adaptix Limited today celebrates the tenure of Chief Executive Officer Sarah Small who will transition out of her role and leave Adaptix on 31st July, after almost 9 transformative years with the company.
Sarah joined Adaptix to lead the Finance function and quickly became a driving force in the company’s evolution, taking on the CEO position the past three years. Under her leadership, she has guided Adaptix through a pivotal period of growth and achievement. The company secured FDA and CE regulatory pathways for its Ortho and Vet product lines, expanding a network of early adopters and distribution partners, and accelerated the development of its non-destructive testing (NDT) division, laying the foundations for sustained commercial success for years to come.
Sarah herself commented: “Leading Adaptix has been one of the most rewarding roles of my career. We have built something truly special with a world-class team, a groundbreaking technology, and a clear path to commercial success. It’s the exceptional strength of the team now in place that has given me the confidence that the timing was right for this transition. I am incredibly proud of everything we have achieved together, and I leave with enormous confidence in the company’s future. I will remain a committed supporter of Adaptix and will be cheering the team on every step of the way.”
Chair of Adaptix, Willem Baralt said: “On behalf of the Board, I want to thank Sarah for the depth of her contribution over nearly a decade. She has led with clarity and resilience, and the amazing progress across the business is a direct reflection of that.”
As part of a planned and orderly transition, Stuart Gall, the Avingtrans Medical and Industrial Imaging Divisional CEO, will assume full leadership of Adaptix. Sarah will work closely with Stuart and the broader leadership team through to 31 July to ensure a seamless handover.
This transition marks the next chapter in Adaptix’s journey as it continues to advance its mission to transform imaging with its unique 3D X-ray technology.
